In the book of Exodus 25-27, we are granted a profound insight into the meticulous nature of God’s guidance. From the dimensions of the Tabernacle to the materials used in its construction, God leaves nothing to chance. He specifies every aspect, from the layout of the sanctuary to the design of the sacred vessels, demonstrating His desire for perfection in the execution of His plans. Just as Moses was instructed in intricate detail on the construction of the Tabernacle, so too does God provide divine wisdom for our entrepreneurial and career pursuits.
I once heard the story of Bright, a young graduate fresh out of university, brimming with aspirations and dreams for his career path. Despite his plans to work for local companies, he decided to seek the face of the Lord for guidance in his job search.
Miraculously, Bright received an offer from a multinational company, a deviation from his initial desire but a clear testament to God’s guiding hand. Every single day on the job, he invited God into his work, surrendering each task and decision to divine wisdom.
In less than two years, Bright’s dedication and faithfulness caught the attention of his superiors, leading to a well-deserved promotion. And within another year, he found himself elevated to the esteemed position of a brand manager. Despite his rapid ascent, Bright remained steadfast in his communion with God, acknowledging His sovereignty over his career journey.
As Bright continued to excel in his role, another unexpected opportunity arose—a job offer from another company with his benefits doubled. Yet, even in the face of such tempting prospects, Bright remained anchored in his commitment to involve God in all his decision making.
In less than three years from joining the new company, Bright was promoted to the position of a business unit head—a feat that typically takes others over a decade to achieve. His journey, though swift, was marked by reliance on God’s guidance at every turn. Bright’s story serves as a powerful reminder that God is interested in guiding us through every step of the way.
As we navigate our own career paths, may we emulate Bright’s example, surrendering our plans and ambitions to God’s divine will. For when we trust in Him with all our hearts and lean not on our understanding, He will direct our paths and lead us to success beyond our wildest dreams.
Jeremiah 33:3 reminds us of God’s promise to reveal great and mighty things to those who call upon Him. This invitation extends to every facet of our entrepreneurial and career journey. God cares deeply about our aspirations and desires to reveal His plans for our lives.
Similarly, in Matthew 11:28, Jesus extends a compassionate invitation to all who are burdened and weary to find rest in Him. Amid our striving, His offer of solace and guidance remains steadfast.
The decision to heed God’s call is deeply personal—a choice to surrender our plans and ambitions to His divine will. Just as Moses experienced divine guidance and transformation, so too can we experience the miraculous in our own journey.
So, I implore you today, consider the truth that God is interested in every detail of your life. Will you open your heart to His guidance and direction? Will you trust in His plans, even when they seem uncertain or challenging?
The journey begins with a simple decision—to accept God’s invitation to walk alongside Him. Are you willing to make that decision today? Take the first step, and you will discover the abundant blessings that await you as you journey with God by your side.
